Begin you tour driving along remote villages, such as Bellevue Chopin, Pichelin until Grand Bay. Bellevue Chopin was once a place of Maroon encampments, now a small farming community, and i the process of developing an Organic Farmers' Tourism Centre with t he assistance of EU.
Stop at Harmony Gardens, an organic herbal farm. a casual stroll exposes you to the viewing of the peacocks, as well as the garden of medicinal tropical herbs. The owners, Mr & Mrs Ormond speak of the best practice used flor growing the herbs, as well as the uses of these tropical herbs.
On to Grand Bay to visit the Coal Pot Factory, a small cottage industry. This is a flourishing community enterprise producing handmade soaps using traditional processes and natural products.
You continue on a scenic drive on the southeast route of precipies, and panoramic views, passing through remote villages off Pt. Carib, Fond St. Jean, Petite Savane. Over the bride that crosses the White River which runs from the heights of the Boiling Lake in the Morne Trois Pitons National Park. Time for a refreshing river bath.
Then a stop in Delices, bay country, to visit a Bay Rum Distillery, Bay is a major cash crop and used to create food seasoning , bay rum and bay oil.

Option #1 - OR Glassy Trail (1 hour return hike)
- Easy hike to cliff top of the village then down to a shelter and then further into a volcanic outcrop.
- Tail heads inland and descends gently through the wood to a dark gulley where it turns sharply back towards the Ocean. Along the way are beautiful views of the cliffs, the ocean, small pools.
Option #2 Grand Fond Fall, also known as Dernier Fall (1 hour return hike)
- Short and steep hike down steps to the waterfall which lies within a circular cavern in the river valley to the south of Grand Fond to a deep pool great for bathing and swimming. Chill out at the entrance to the pool and cavern.
Back to the Hotel via Layou Valley, along the river with pool areas t and small beaches hat are great for bathing.
