Trip to Barbuda

Ferry to Barbuda (Helicopter or airplane options)

MORNING Local breakfast – roast dumpling with fat pork and fried fish Frigate Bird Sanctuary Located in the island's northwestern lagoon and accessible only by boat. The sanctuary contains over 170 species of birds and is home to over 200,000 frigate birds. Visit the famous Shirley Heights UNESCO heritage site.

LUNCH Picnic lunch on Pink Sand Beach An array of local foods including lobster, conch, soldier crab fungi, peas fungi, deer meat

AFTERNOON Two Foot Bay National Park hike or relax on the beach (Princess Diana Beach) Two Foot Bay National Park is located on the northeast coast a short drive from Codrington. Here the karst has been reshaped into dramatic caves and cliffs. The only petroglyphs on Barbuda are found within one of these caves. Ferry back to Antigua

Breakfast Crawl & Visit to Shirley Heights

MORNING

EVENING ·     Visit to Shirley Heights, a UNESCO Heritage Site that is a restored military lookout and gun battery with 180 degree views of English and Falmouth Harbours. Shirley Height boasts of the best BBQ on the island of local cuisine that includes chicken, pork and fish.
